Turkey is no less enthralling than any other country in the world in terms of the frequency and nature of abduction cases, even though close encounter stories get most mainstream attention in the Western World.
Contrary to the “relatively liberal ways” they have been reported in the West, reports of UFO abduction phenomenon have been made from around the country through “more secure channels” due to the conservative social fabric that discourages people from sharing their outer-worldly experiences.
Through a comparative analysis of nearly 800 cases reported to us (Sirius UFO Space Sciences Research Center), physical evidence and corroborative testimony, we can easily conclude that almost every common characteristics, such as feeling of paralysis, the perception of having been transported immaterially (frequently through a beam of light), missing time, unusual marks, bright and oval-shaped examination/operation rooms, examination tables, unconventional medical procedures, removal and/or insertion of reproductive material, implants, balls of light, short and tall greys (Greys are most popularly associated with abduction reports.), Nordics and reptilians (in rare cases) etc., seen in abduction cases around the planet are perfectly present in a plenty of stories with enough clarity to be labeled and archived as “possible close encounter case”. At this point, I need to emphasize that –in contrast to common recognition- majority of abductees in Turkey report vivid, detailed accounts without hypnosis.

Fake news has been getting a lot of attention recently. Anybody active in the fields of ufology, exopolitics or contact research, is of course very familiar with the phenomenon, as fake news stories have been rampant for ages in these fields. After all, the vast majority of video clips and photos with UFOs doing the rounds on social media are blatant hoaxes. There is plethora of websites that make a lot of money by constantly spewing sensational but made up stories that deal with an extraterrestrial presence. There are con artists pretending to be whistleblowers who are willing to share their 'exclusive information' for a 'reasonable price.' Then there are people with a genuine interest who think their piece of the puzzle is all there is, and muddy the waters by systematically dismissing and attacking any information that doesn't match their views. There are people with agendas, and there are paid disinformation agents. In these circumstances, finding the truth increasingly becomes a major challenge.
To dispel some of the falsehoods that are being spread, we asked the members of our panel what they thought was the biggest myth or fake news story with regard to an extraterrestrial presence. Here are their replies.
The biggest or most important IMPLICIT myth / falsehood that is being spread with regard to contact experiences is that a validating feeling and coherence with our previous beliefs is the surest way to judge whether information about the nature and purpose of extraterrestrials is true. Believers and skeptics are typically divided by gut feeling and by whether any information purported to be true coincides with their feelings and belief systems already engaging with their sense of personal identity. In an era in which greater degrees of precision, more careful and well-reasoned research and facts are mixed through new media outlets with "alternative news" and "post-truth" statements also vying for people's responses, allegiances and support, issues such as extraterrestrial and/ or interdimensional contacts (themselves already in the periphery of what is acceptable by the 'mainstream') can be subject to even greater disconnection from facts and from what can be plausibly said to be more correct and perhaps partially verifiable. This situation demands even greater clarity of method and critical thinking so as not to fall in the "fake news" pattern that many are willing to admit as "valid" or as "fact" because it resonates well with them. Deciphering genuine cases of extraterrestrial contact may well require greater degrees both of critical thinking and greater degrees of intersubjective openness.

The Extraterrestrial Presence – What Perspective to Take Before Disclosure
Are the extraterrestrials good or bad, shall we trust them, ignore them, avoid them or seek contact?
written by Nevenka Likar
The students of ufology and exopolitics, to whom the author and researcher Gerard Aartsen dedicated his latest book Before Disclosure, a primer to learn from about the basics regarding the extraterrestrial presence, are exposed to very different views on this very presence and, more generally, on our human condition, past, present and future. These views vary with regard to the intentions of the extraterrestrials who presumably seeded us on this planet, to the consequences of their ongoing interference with our evolution and the related perception of ourselves and of the reality as such, as well as with regard to the perception of where we are as a civilization and a planet and what we should focus on in these times of transition, with disclosure already happening not only through a global grassroots movement but also, in some form, through official levels finally realizing that a gradual unveiling of this long-hidden and manipulated truth will, due to so many parallel developments in our society pushing for it, soon become inevitable.
Putting aside the findings which have lead some researchers to conclusions that the intentions of the extraterrestrials are exploitative and manipulative, we remain with those who see their presence as positive, one in which we can maintain full confidence, follow their advice and upgrade our knowledge and awareness, to become receptive to new ways of looking at things and acting, a process which has already started with an ever-increasing number of humans becoming part of it. Such is also the stand of the author of the book, which is intended to be 'an elementary coursebook' of ufology and exopolitics - extraterrestrial politics toward humanity – for students who seek the truth about these issues. To find it, and for the false truths to be replaced by genuine ones, the following must be done.
We must untangle facts from speculation concerning the nature of extraterrestrial presence, realizing that the extraterrestrials are our space brothers, while other perceptions ensue from misleading information humanity has been exposed to, especially in the last 70 years; the material reality of their spececraft must be uncloaked, yet to understand this, our science must evolve and abandon its empirical research methods, so that the conclusions will reflect the true laws that govern our cosmic reality; next, our Earth-centered mentality must give way to acceptance of life on other planets through evolution of consciousness as a basis for evolution of knowledge; correctly understood must be the mission of the space brothers conveyed through direct and indirect contacts and intended to bring about awareness of six basic truths: life is a mysterious, non-accidental phenomenon, the underlying cause of evolution, experienced through consciousness, and those who have attained its higher levels – our great historical teachers and visitors from space – their terrestrial and extraterrestrial consciousness merging, becoming one - have already adopted the notion of life as universal, and consciousness as an ever-evolving and ever-expanding fabric that holds everything together. The awareness of life as being one on Earth and in the universe will eliminate divisions and help people, through a feeling of interconnectedness it generates, to raise confidence in each other and in themselves, develop dignity and empathy and altruism and create a society of peace, cooperation and prosperity.

Manuel Lamiroy: Introduction
MILAB stands for Military Abduction. The phenomenon was first investigated by Dr. Helmut Lammer of the Austrian Space Research Institute. In a number of cases, abductees are subsequently abducted by humans in military uniforms. (For this reason, Melinda Leslie started calling them RE-ABs, for re-abductions). Nearly always unmarked helicopters are involved. The victims are usually drugged or sometimes disoriented by a strong electromagnetic field. During their military abduction most of them receive an implant, usually behind the ear. MILABs seem to be a part of a wider operation, aimed at monitoring and abducting abductees in order to keep a lid on the alien abduction phenomenon.
MILABs are different from regular alien abductions. For starters, they seem to be limited to mainly the USA (and maybe Canada). Furthermore, MILABs involve "Activity of dark unmarked helicopters, the appearence of strange vans or buses outside the houses of abductees, exposure to disorienting electromagnetic fields, drugging, transport with a helicopter, bus or truck to an unknown building or an underground military facility. Usually there are physical aftereffects, like grogginess and sometimes nausea after the kidnappings. There is also a difference when the abductors appear. In most UFO-abduction cases, the beings appear through a closed window, wall, or the abductee feels a strange presence in the room. Most abductees report that they are paralysed from the mental power of the alien beings. At MILABs the abductee reports that the kidnappers give him or her a shot with a syringe. It is interesting, that MILAB-abductees report that they are examined from human doctors in rectangular rooms and not in round sterile rooms -- as in descriptions of UFO-abductees. The described rooms, halls and furniture are similar to terrestrial hospital rooms, laboratories or research facilities and have nothing to do with UFO-furniture." (Helmut Lammer, "Military involvement in Abductions," 16 October 1996, www.abduct.com/features/f04.php).

ET Contacts in Southern Peru:
Contactee Roberto Vargas de la Gala and the DNA Connection
By Giorgio Piacenza
Editor’s note: this is the third and final part of our interview with Roberto Vargas de la Gala.
Part 1 can be found here: Giorgio Piacenza interviews Roberto Vargas de la Gala, Part 1.
Part 2 can be found here: Giorgio Piacenza interviews Roberto Vargas de la Gala, Part 2.
The interview was originally conducted in Spanish.
GP: Yes, I’ve heard about those accounts several times. Persons that have gone to those areas have met with villagers that see spacecraft. Even Linda Moulton Howe came from the U.S., and went to a high-altitude village near Cuzco. She claims that the community had friendships with beings that came down to them. If a U.S. researcher like her tells something like this, I imagine it is quite possible because the same is also told by people living in Perú, like our highly remembered (already deceased) Mr. Vlado Kapetanovic (probably the first non-Andean native, physical contactee who, in his book “170 Hours with Extraterrestrials”, brought information to light about a protective “Apunian” extraterrestrial civilization being quite active in the central mountainous area of Ancash, Perú).
RVG: So, there is something very interesting. The human part of our DNA would be 99% active, except for a specific 1%. That 1% is the expression of that (previously mentioned) “Ayin Kausay,” that Unconditional Love or, if you may, the “Real Feeling.” That 1% is the capacity of recognizing ourselves as spiritual beings in a material world. However, the DNA of civilizations situated on a more evolved 4th and 5th physical dimensional level is 99% active but it still missing that 1%.
The wise ones among them still need to activate that specific 1% but those that can be symbolically called the “retarding” or “delaying” ones (those advocated to retarding or delaying the evolution of other beings) would only physically possess that 99% and would have to create their missing 1%, a percentage which they lost or eliminated from their DNA.
So, if here on Earth, we are capable of activating that 1% which – among Andean cultures - is called “Ayin Kausay,” then we would be able not just of activating those codes in us but also able to replicate this and to activate it in those beings that yielded part of those codes. In relation to beings that are in the Light it will be activated through remembrance and, in relation to beings that are “retardants” or “delayers,” a sort of multi-transdimensional “vaccine” would begin to be generated in them along with the capacity of experiencing feelings and emotions and of remembering who they are.

In an effort to debunk UFO abduction/contact events, skeptics often claim that what experiencers interpret as memories of ET abduction/contact are actually the result of natural brain functions referred to as false memories.
Generally defined as "memories of events that didn’t really happen," false memories result from natural functions of the human mind in all areas of life (not just in ET encounters), and can be created in various ways:
- purposely as a fabrication or fantasy, or unintentionally as the result of mental disturbance or disease;
- when an individual intends to do something, and doesn’t follow through, but thinks they did;
- by an event that is too traumatic for the individual to face;
- by seeing or hearing something about the subject; or
- by a suggestion introduced in a highly suggestible state of mind, such as deep meditation or hypnotic trance.
There is no doubt that false memories exist and that everyone with a human mind experiences them. As such, it is possible, and even likely, that some ET abduction/contact experiences can be attributed to or may be a blend of valid genuine events and false memories. However, this is not proof that all reported contact experiences are such. Debunkers exhibit their misunderstanding of the functions of the human mind when they contend that if there is no incontrovertible proof that an ET abduction/contact event happened, it necessarily was a false memory.
False memories happen, and probably the greatest difficulty an experiencer will encounter in trying to come to terms with an ET abduction/contact event is figuring out what really happened and what may in fact be false memories. Talking about the event in a support group or with a therapist or counselor can make it easier to figure out.
